Cedynia Landscape Park

Cedynia Landscape Park is a protected area in the western part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, established on 1 April 1993. It encompasses the picturesque lands along the lower course of the Odra River near the border with Germany.

Area and location

The park covers 308.50 km², and its buffer zone amounts to 531.20 km². It stretches across the municipalities of Chojna, Cedynia, Mieszkowice and Moryń, with a buffer zone reaching the municipalities of Trzcińsko-Zdrój and Widuchowa.

Natural values

The park includes the Puszcza Piaskowa (Sandy Forest), the Krzymów Hills, the Morzyn Hills, the Cedynia Carpathians, the Cedynia Wetlands and the Mieszkowice Forests. Within its area there are 9 nature reserves, including Bielinek and Jeziora Siegniewskie.
