Ślęża Landscape Park

Ślęża Landscape Park was established on 8 June 1988 in order to protect the natural and scenic environment of the Ślęża Massif along with its cultural and historical values.

Area and location

The park covers 81.90 km², and the buffer zone 74.50 km². It lies within the municipalities of Dzierżoniów, Jordanów Śląski, Łagiewniki, Marcinowice, Sobótka and Świdnica.

Natural values

The central feature is the Ślęża Massif (718 m a.s.l.). Forests occupy about 5,500 ha (67% of the area). The park includes three reserves: Góra Ślęża, Góra Radunia and Łąka Sulistrowicka, as well as an archaeological reserve in Będkowice.
