Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park

The Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park was established on 20 September 1993. It protects the largest and most natural forest complex in the vicinity of Poznań.

Area and location

The park covers 12,202 ha, with a buffer zone of 9,538.55 ha. It lies to the north-east of Poznań, within the municipalities of Czerwonak, Kiszkowo, Murowana Goślina, Pobiedziska and Skoki.

Natural value

Forests cover about 80% of the area. The park is crossed by the Warta, Trojanka, Struga Wierzenicka and Potok Dzwonowski rivers. There are seven lakes (including Kamińskie and Czarne) and five nature reserves.
