Promno Landscape Park

The Promno Landscape Park was established in 1993. It protects a post-glacial moraine landscape with numerous lakes to the east of Poznań.

Area and location

The park covers 33.64 km², with a buffer zone of 23.80 km². It lies mainly in the Pobiedziska municipality (over 87%) and partly in the Kostrzyn municipality (Poznań county).

Natural value

There are eight glacial lakes here (including Dębiniec, Brzostek and Dobre), two canals and a moraine landscape with diverse forests. The park comprises four nature reserves protecting rare bog species and deciduous forests.
