Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park

The Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park was established in 1990. It protects a young-glacial lakeland landscape at the meeting point of three voivodeships: Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian and Masovian.

Area and location

The park covers about 27,531 ha. It lies within the municipalities of Górzno, Brzozie, Bartniczka, Świedziebnia, Lidzbark and Lubowidz.

Natural value

A young-glacial landscape with steep ravines and channel lakes. The exceptionally clean Brynica river is fed by numerous springs. There are seven nature reserves, about 200 rare plant species and over 160 bird species. The park belongs to the Green Lungs of Poland area.
