Słupia Valley Landscape Park

The Słupia Valley Landscape Park was established in 1981. It is the only valley-type landscape park in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, protecting the valley of the Słupia river and the surrounding moraine hills.

Area and location

The park covers 370.40 km², with a buffer zone of 831.70 km². It lies within the counties of Słupsk (Kobylnica, Dębnica Kaszubska, Słupsk) and Bytów (Czarna Dąbrówka, Borzytuchom, Kołczygłowy, Bytów).

Natural value

A landscape shaped by the last glaciation: moraine uplands, river valleys and glacial lakes. Forests cover 72% of the area. There are eight reserves within the park and six in the buffer zone, as well as about 70 natural monuments.
