The Sulejów Landscape Park was established in 1994. It forms part of the Pilica Valley Landscape Parks and protects the Pilica valley together with the Sulejów Reservoir.
The park covers 170.26 km², and together with its buffer zone 364.11 km². It lies within 13 municipalities and 2 towns, including Sulejów, Piotrków Trybunalski and Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
The central feature is the Pilica valley with the Sulejów Reservoir (created in the 1970s). Forests cover nearly 70% of the area. There are seven nature reserves, xerothermic grasslands and peat bogs.
