Czarnorzecko-Strzyżowski Landscape Park

Czarnorzecko-Strzyżowski Landscape Park was established on 7 April 1993. It protects the Strzyżów and Dynów Foothills with their picturesque rock outcrops.

Area and location

The park covers 256.54 km², and its buffer zone 340.74 km². It lies within 10 municipalities, including Brzostek, Frysztak, Strzyżów and Korczyna.

Natural values

Characteristic are the sandstone outcrops shaped by erosion, including the rocks in the Prządki reserve in Czarnorzeki. The highest peak is Sucha Góra (591 m). The Stobnica and Wisłok rivers form gorges. There are three reserves in the park, as well as wolves, lynxes, otters and eagles.
