The Krasnobród Landscape Park was established in 1988. It protects the unique natural and cultural values of Central Roztocze around the spa town of Krasnobród.
The park covers 9,390 ha, with a buffer zone of 30,794 ha. It lies within the municipalities of Krasnobród and Adamów (Zamość County), Józefów (Biłgoraj County), and Susiec and Tomaszów Lubelski (Tomaszów County).
The park is located in Central Roztocze at elevations above 350 m above sea level, encompassing the upper valley of the Wieprz River and limestone outcrops. Pine-fir forests cover over 60% of the area.
