Pieniny National Park protects the nature of the Pieniny - a picturesque mountain range with the Dunajec River gorge. Established in 1932, it is one of the first national parks in Poland (around 23 km²).
The park lies in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, on the border with Slovakia (adjacent to the PIENAP).
For hiking tourists, families and participants of the Dunajec raft trip.
The park receives several hundred thousand visitors a year; the raft trip through the gorge is very popular.
The park is open all year round; the Dunajec raft trip operates in the spring-to-autumn season.
By car to Krościenko and Sromowce Niżne; the trails are accessible on foot.
