Narew National Park

Narew National Park protects the unique, marshy valley of the Narew, an anastomosing (multi-channel) river nicknamed the "Polish Amazon". Established in 1996, it covers about 68 km².

Location and surroundings

The park lies in the Podlaskie Province; its headquarters are in Kurowo.

  • The Narew valley with its labyrinth of channels and floodplains
  • The Śliwno-Waniewo footbridge - a route of over a kilometre with floating pontoons
