Tuchola Forest National Park

Tuchola Forest National Park protects a fragment of the vast Tuchola Forest complex with lakes and pine woods. Established in 1996, it covers about 46 km². Part of the international "Tuchola Forest" biosphere reserve.

Location and surroundings

The park lies in the Pomeranian Province, near Chojnice; its headquarters are in Charzykowy.

  • Lobelia lakes - including Wielkie Gacno, Małe Gacno, Nierybno and Głuche (with the relict water lobelia)
  • Pine forests covering over 80% of the area
