Beaches in Łeba

Łeba is a seaside tourist resort on the Baltic, famous for its wide, sandy beaches and its proximity to Słowiński National Park with its shifting dunes. Łeba has two main beaches: the Eastern Beach and the Western Beach.

Location and surroundings

Łeba lies in the Lębork district (Pomeranian Province), on the sandbar between the sea and the lakes Łebsko and Sarbsko. Słowiński National Park (established on 1 January 1967, area about 327 km²) protects, among other things, shifting dunes that migrate eastwards by several metres a year; the highest dune, Łącka Góra, is about 42 m high.
