Lake Białe in Okuninka

Lake Białe is a karst lake in the Łęczna-Włodawa Lake District, one of the cleanest lakes in the Lublin region, famous for its sandy bottom and the turquoise colour of its water. Okuninka on its shore is one of the main holiday resorts of the region.

Location and surroundings

The lake lies in the Lublin Voivodeship, in Włodawa County (Włodawa commune), about 7 km south of Włodawa, next to the Sobibór Landscape Park. Its area is about 1.06 km² (106 ha), maximum depth about 33.6 m, average about 14.1 m. Class I water purity.
