Lake Powidz is a glacial ribbon lake, the largest lake in the Greater Poland Voivodeship and one of the cleanest lakes in Poland. Bathing areas operate along its shores, including in Powidz, Giewartów, Kosewo and Przybrodzin.

The lake lies in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, in Słupca County, in the communes of Powidz and Ostrowite, on the Września Plain. According to sources, the water surface area is about 1,036-1,175 ha. Class I water purity (2015 studies), record visibility over 10 m. In the northern part, the Ostrowo Peninsula (about 3.5 km) juts in.
