City Beach No. 1 is one of three seasonal bathing areas organised by the Sports and Recreation Centre in Olsztyn at Lake Ukiel (also called Krzywe) - the largest lake within the city limits of Olsztyn. The shoreline of bathing area No. 1 is 76 metres long.
Lake Ukiel is one of the largest inland bathing waters in Poland. Along Jeziorna Street there are three bathing areas: City Beach No. 1, No. 2 and the Marina Beach. Modern infrastructure ensures a high level of comfort for relaxation.
The bathing season usually runs from the end of June to the end of August; the bathing area is supervised 10:00-18:00.
