Jeziorsko on the Warta River is the largest body of water by surface area in the Łódź Voivodeship (over 42 km²), created in 1986 by damming the middle course of the Warta with a 12 m high concrete dam. The reservoir allows sailing, kayaking and windsurfing; along its shores there are beaches and bathing spots.
