Kasprowy Wierch

Kasprowy Wierch (1987 m above sea level) in the Tatra Mountains is the only place in Poland where you can ski on natural, high-mountain slopes. The area is sometimes called the capital of Polish skiing. The slopes are operated by Polskie Koleje Linowe (Polish Cable Railways).

Location and surroundings

Access is by cable car from Kuźnice in Zakopane (Lesser Poland Voivodeship); the slopes lead to the Goryczkowa Valley and the Gąsienicowa Valley.
