Lake Bystrzyca

Lake Bystrzyca is a dam reservoir on the Bystrzyca River in the Owl Mountains, created after the construction of a stone dam at Lubachów (in operation since 1914).

Location and surroundings

The reservoir lies in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Walim commune, Wałbrzych County. Its area is about 0.5 km², and the stone dam is around 44 m high. Its capacity is about 8 million m³.
