Lake Nysa is a dam reservoir on the Nysa Kłodzka River, created next to Nysa (in operation since 1972).
The reservoir lies in the Opole Voivodeship, in Nysa County, near Nysa. Its area is about 20 km² (2,077 ha), its capacity around 122 million m³, and its depth 5-15 m. The concrete-and-earth dam is about 5 km long.
For sailors, beachgoers and bird lovers.
The reservoir serves flood-protection, water-supply, recreational and energy functions.
The tourist season falls in summer.
