Brda (kayaking trail)

The Brda is a river about 238 km long, known as one of the more attractive kayaking trails in Poland. It flows through the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeships, through the Tuchola Forest, emptying into the Vistula in Bydgoszcz.

Location and surroundings

The river rises from Lake Smołowe near Miastko and flows through the Tuchola Forest and the Charzykowy Plain. It is navigable by kayak over a stretch of about 233 km.
