The Nida is a left tributary of the upper Vistula about 151 km long, flowing through the Nida Basin. The width of the channel ranges from a few to several dozen metres, and the depth rarely exceeds 1 m, which makes the trail easy and safe, suitable for families and beginners.
The Nida kayaking trail is one of the most popular in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The river meanders through the picturesque landscapes of the Ponidzie region, abounding in steppe and gypsum reserves.
Along the trail lies Pińczów with its Renaissance synagogue, church and Wielopolski Palace, as well as other towns of the Ponidzie region.
