The San on the stretch between Sanok (Lesko) and Przemyśl is one of the most attractive kayaking routes in the Subcarpathia. Near Trepcza and Międzybrodzie the river forms a picturesque gorge at the foot of the Słonne Mountains.
In summer the water depth on this stretch does not exceed about 0.5 m. Recommended one-day sections include Sanok-Temeszów, Temeszów-Dynów and Dynów-Słonne. The best months for a trip are April, May and June.
