Husynne Reservoir

Husynne Reservoir is a body of water in the Dorohusk commune, about 30 km from Chełm and 5 km from Dorohusk. It was created in the 1960s by flooding wasteland near the village of Husynne. Its area is about 120 ha and its maximum depth is around 3 m. The reservoir is fed by the waters of the Udal river.

Tourism

Husynne Reservoir is renowned for its clean water (class I purity has been recorded) and is a popular spot for swimming and angling in the eastern part of the Lublin region.
