The Wieprz is the longest river flowing entirely through the Lublin region, about 300-370 km long, rising in Roztocze and emptying into the Vistula near Dęblin. It is one of the most popular canoeing trails in the region.
The river is suitable for paddling except for its upper stretch and the area of the Roztocze National Park. The most interesting sections lie in Roztocze and in the middle course within the Nadwieprzański Landscape Park. The popular Obrocz-Zwierzyniec route runs along the edge of the Roztocze National Park.
