Wda River (kayaking trail)

The Wda, also known as Czarna Woda, is one of the most beautiful kayaking trails in Poland and, alongside the Brda, the second famous river of the Tuchola Forest. In its middle course below Lake Wdzydze, the river flows through the Tuchola Forest with a fairly lively current.

Character of the trail

The section from Wdzydze to Świecie is calm and considered easy. The most popular stretch runs between Lipusz and Tleń, across the so-called Kashubian Sea (Lake Wdzydze) and vast forest complexes. The water is very clean and clear.

In the area

On the shores of Lake Wdzydze operates the Teodora and Izydor Gulgowski Kashubian Ethnographic Park.
