Lake Drawsko

Lake Drawsko is the largest lake of the Drawsko Lake District, located in the Czaplinek municipality. Its water surface area is 1,781.5 ha and its maximum depth is 82.2 m, making it the second deepest lake in Poland after Lake Hańcza.

Islands and shoreline

The lake has 12 islands (the largest, Bielawa, is the fifth largest lake island in Poland) and about 75 km of varied shoreline.

Tourism

The lake is the undisputed leader of the region in terms of the number of tourists. The main base is Czaplinek with its water sports centres. The lake is famous for angling, sailing and various forms of recreation.
