Szklarka Waterfall

The Szklarka Waterfall is the second highest waterfall in the Polish Karkonosze (after the Kamieńczyk Waterfall). The water of the Szklarka stream falls from a height of 13.3 m, at an altitude of about 525 m above sea level, forming a pothole (marmite) at its foot.

Location and surroundings

It is located in an enclave of the Karkonosze National Park, administratively in Piechowice. A wide path from the car park leads to the viewing platform.

What to see

A wide, swirling cascade with an evorsion pothole. Nearby is the "Kochanówka" shelter.
