The cliff in Mechelinki forms the edge of Kępa Oksywska descending towards the Bay of Puck. It reaches a height of 20-30 metres and stretches from Mechelinki through Babie Doły all the way to Gdynia-Oksywie.
The site is located in the Kosakowo municipality, adjacent to the Mechelińskie Łąki nature reserve. The shape of the cliff changes constantly under the influence of marine abrasion.
From the top of the cliff there is a view of the Gulf of Gdańsk, Rewa and the Hel Peninsula (Jurata, Jastarnia, Hel). According to local sources, it is the only cliff in Poland with the possibility of driving a car up to the top.
