Chłapowo Cliff

The cliff in Chłapowo is one of the highest and steepest cliff sections on the Polish coast, reaching in places about 30 metres in height. It forms part of a long stretch of cliff shoreline running from Chłapowo towards Jastrzębia Góra.

Location and surroundings

The cliff lies in the village of Chłapowo (Władysławowo municipality), within the Coastal Landscape Park, in the area of the Swarzewo Upland. Nearby is the Dolina Chłapowska nature reserve (a ravine about 500 m long and up to 50 m deep, established in 2000, with an area of 24.83 ha).

What to see

A steep shore actively undercut by the sea, with sweeping views of the Baltic, and the adjacent ravine of the Chłapowo Valley.
