Cliff in Rozewie

Cape Rozewie is a stretch of high cliff coast in the Kashubian Coastland, known above all for the Rozewie lighthouse. The cliff protects the remnants of a Pomeranian beech forest.

Location and surroundings

Rozewie lies in the Władysławowo municipality. Within the cape the Cape Rozewie nature reserve was established (existing since 1959, with an area of about 12.15 ha), protecting beech trees over 200 years old with trunk circumferences of up to 3 metres. The cliff shore has been reinforced with concrete in places to counter abrasion.
