The Czołpino Dune is a shifting dune shaped like a barchan (crescent), located in the western part of the Słowiński National Park, on the Łeba sandbar in the area of Czołpino. It is one of the park's most recognisable shifting dunes, adjacent to the Czołpino lighthouse.
The dune lies near the village of Czołpino, in the municipality of Smołdzino. The nearest access leads from Smołdziński Las and the Czołpino lighthouse.
Active aeolian processes constantly reshape the dune - on the windward slopes the sandy material is pushed by the wind, causing the dune to migrate. White dunes with grasses (including marram grass) as well as grey dunes occur here.
For hikers, nature lovers and photographers; the area is under strict protection of the park.
Accessible all year round in accordance with the park regulations.
