Zamkowa Zagroda is a mini zoo in the village of Rudno in Lesser Poland, located at the foot of Tenczyn Castle, about 35 km from the centre of Kraków.
The facility is located in Rudno (Krzeszowice municipality), adjacent to the ruins of Tenczyn Castle. The drive from Kraków takes about 40 minutes by car.
Around 30 different animals live on roughly 4 hectares. Visitors can feed and pet them, and pony rides are available for an additional fee. There is a playground on the grounds.
A family attraction, especially for families with children from Kraków and the surrounding area.
Free parking, stroller-friendly paths, a playground, portable toilets and a small food outlet are available.
Saturdays and Sundays 10:00-18:00 (weekdays vary - worth confirming). Regular ticket PLN 20, reduced PLN 17, children up to 3 years free, feed PLN 8.
