Mini Zoo in Zielona Góra

The Mini Zoo in Zielona Góra is a small zoological garden linked to the Botanical Garden of the University of Zielona Góra, opened on 12 April 2014. It is run by the Municipal Housing Authority in Zielona Góra.

Location and surroundings

The facility is located at ul. Botaniczna 50a in Zielona Góra, next to the Botanical Garden (entrance from ul. Botaniczna).

Attractions and activities

The exhibition presents, among others, meerkats, fallow deer, miniature goats, Cameroon sheep, peacocks and parrot-family birds. Following expansion in 2022-2023, lemurs, capuchin monkeys, a Skudde sheep and a North American porcupine were added. The grounds also house the "Ptasi Azyl" Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre.

After the expansion, new animal buildings, a gazebo, toilets and walking paths with benches and educational boards were created.
