The largest botanical garden in Poland, covering an area of about 67 ha. It was established in 1929, and its present form developed in later decades. It is divided into numerous themed sections.
The garden is located in the western part of Łódź on Krzemieniecka Street, next to the Józef Piłsudski Park (Park na Zdrowiu).
Among the sections are the Japanese Garden, the Alpinarium, the Arboretum, the Polish Flora Section, the Plant Open-Air Museum, and collections of tulips, peonies and daylilies.
An ideal place for families with children, nature and photography lovers.
Ticket offices, walking paths, themed sections. Discounts for, among others, children, young people, students up to the age of 26, pensioners, disability pensioners and holders of the Municipal Senior Card 60+.
Open April-October. April/September 9:00-19:00, May-August 9:00-20:00, October 9:00-17:00. Ticket offices close earlier. Closed from 1 November to 31 March.
