Forest Arboretum in Zielonka

The Forest Arboretum in Zielonka is a unit of the Poznań University of Life Sciences, located in the heart of the Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park. It was established in 1979 on the initiative of Prof. Jan Meixner.

Collections

The arboretum covers 86 ha (a dendrological-landscape park of 23 ha and a woodland stand of 66 ha). It gathers around 1,100 species and varieties of trees and shrubs, including a collection of more than 100 varieties of heathers and around 560 species of herbaceous plants.
