Prof. Stefan Białobok Forest Arboretum

The Forest Arboretum in Stradomia at the Syców Forest District was established in 1994 on the site of a former specialist forest nursery and was named after Prof. Stefan Białobok, one of Poland's most eminent botanists and dendrologists. It is located in the Trzebnica Hills.

Collections

The arboretum gathers around 1,500 species and varieties of trees and shrubs. It holds the largest collection of pines in Poland (approx. 150 species and varieties), a collection of magnolias, as well as more than 300 varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas, and an alpinarium.

The exhibition is open to visitors approx. 1 April – 30 October; visiting trails (red approx. 2.8 km, blue 1.2 km, black 1.5 km), maximum time approx. 2.5 hours.
