The Arboretum - Centre for Dendrological Research is a specialist garden of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, created in 2002 (the idea arose in 2001). It is sometimes referred to as the 'second botanical garden' of Wrocław.
The total area of the centre is approx. 72.5 ha; it comprises the Jubilee Park in Ramiszów, the historic palace park in Wrocław-Pawłowice (approx. 7.4 ha) and forest land. The arboretum gathers more than 200 species of trees and shrubs, including Caucasian wingnut, ginkgo and Katsura tree.
For individual visitors the park is accessible free of charge throughout the week.
