The Botanical Garden - Forest Arboretum in the Janów Lubelski Forest District has existed since 2001 and is being steadily developed; its official opening took place on 28 September 2023. It is located about 3 km from the centre of Janów Lubelski, next to the Lasy Janowskie Ecological Education Centre.
The site covers about 40 ha. It presents plants typical of the region - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers, firs, beeches, and aquatic and marsh plants. There are numerous bridges and footbridges, educational trails, a children's education zone, a sensory garden and a bird-watching point.
