The Arboretum in the Marcule Forest District is one of the younger facilities of its kind in the State Forests, opened to visitors in 2006. It is part of the Bishop Jan Chrapek Nature Education Centre.
On an area of 7.9 ha, nearly 600 species of trees and shrubs from various parts of the world have been gathered. The centre also includes a green school with nature exhibits, an exhibition hall and a small forest museum.
Self-guided visits; free brochures available at the information point by the gate. An additional attraction is a ride on the Starachowice Narrow-Gauge Railway on the Iłża-Marcule route (May-October).
