The Silesian Botanical Garden in Radzionków (a branch of the Association of Societies ŚOB) is located on the southern slope of Księża Góra and covers nearly 16 ha. It is an unusual, habitat-based botanical garden whose main aim is the active protection of species and rare plant communities.
The collections are divided into habitat and thematic ones - they include the natural vegetation of Księża Góra as well as collections of ornamental plants, flower meadows, an ericarium, a rosarium, a dendrological collection and an orchard. The garden was created on the site of a former quarry.
Free admission, the garden is open from dawn to dusk. A Regional Ecological Education Station operates here.
