A zoological garden located in the Wolski Forest, covering about 20 hectares. It presents around 1500 animals representing more than 270 species, of which over 100 are endangered or threatened species.
The zoo is located on St. Bronisława's Hill in the Wolski Forest, in the western part of Kraków, in a popular recreational area.
The facility emphasises species conservation and education; it offers programmes for school groups and individual visitors. Its forest location provides natural values throughout the year.
