Silesian Zoological Garden in Chorzów

One of the largest zoological gardens in Poland, occupying nearly 50 hectares within Silesian Park. A member of EAZA.

Location and surroundings

The zoo is located at Promenada gen. Jerzego Ziętka 7 in Chorzów, within the extensive Silesian Park on the border with Katowice.

The exhibits include an Exotarium, a Monkey House, an Elephant House and an Aquarium. The garden offers themed visiting routes, educational activities and animal conservation campaigns.
