A mini zoo (Bajkowa Zagroda) operating within the Botanical Garden of the University of Zielona Góra, opened in 2007. The garden covers 2.5 ha and presents nearly 500 species and varieties of plants.
Bajkowa Zagroda is home to, among others, meerkats, fallow deer, goats, parrots, peacocks and pheasants. The animals are accompanied by fairy-tale figures and boards with fairy tales. There is also a playground on the grounds.
This is a facility separate from the independently operating Mini Zoo in Zielona Góra - it is located at the Botanical Garden.
Open as part of the Botanical Garden, all year round; no additional ticket is required for the mini zoo.
