Playground in Cytadela Park

Cytadela Park is the largest city park in Poznan, covering about 100 hectares. In its south-eastern part there is a large playground of about 1,500 m2, opened in 2015 and considered one of the largest in Poznan.

Location and surroundings

The playground is located on the Szelagowska Street side, on a rise near a former sledging hill, on the grounds of the historic Citadel.

Offer / Attractions

For the youngest children there are low installations, including a wooden locomotive, a play ship, low rockers, a sandpit and small slides. The playground is also equipped with climbing frames, slides, obstacle courses, carousels, swings and a colourful train.

Infrastructure

Near the playground there is a cafe, and within the Citadel there are also museums (the Museum of Armaments and the Poznan Army Museum).
