The new playground in Planty Park in Bialystok is one of the largest investments of its kind in the city, its construction costing almost PLN 4.2 million. The main attraction is a giant wooden owl.
The playground is located in Planty Park, one of the central parks of Bialystok.
The main attraction is an owl about 3.5 m high, 6 m wide and 9 m long, made of natural black locust wood (intended for children aged 4 and up). Inside there are a platform maze, nets and climbing walls, a slide and platforms at various heights. The playground also features swings, trampolines, rockers, carousels, a rope structure with slides, obstacle courses, and sand-play and musical sets.
The playground is intended for younger and older children; some of the equipment is adapted to the needs of children with disabilities.
The area is open to the public all year round. Investment cost: almost PLN 4.2 million.
