Main Świętokrzyski Trail named after Edmund Massalski

The Main Świętokrzyski Trail is the longest and most important hiking trail in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, marked in red. It links the localities of Gołoszyce and Kuźniaki; depending on the source and measurements, its stated length ranges from about 92 km to 105 km.

Location and surroundings

The trail leads through the region's most important places: the Jeleniów Landscape Park and the Świętokrzyski National Park, reaching among others Łysica (the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains) and Łysa Góra with the Holy Cross (Święty Krzyż).

What to see

Along the route lie the sanctuary on Święty Krzyż, Nowa Słupia, Święta Katarzyna, Radostowa, scree fields (gołoborza) and numerous nature reserves.
