The Municipal Zoological Garden in Łódź (trade name: Orientarium ZOO Łódź) has been operating since 1938. After a thorough modernisation in 2022, it became one of the most modern attractions of its kind in Europe.
The garden is located on Konstantynowska Street, covering an area of 16.64 hectares.
It keeps (as of 2022) about 3,350 animals representing 554 species. Its most important part is the Orientarium - a complex dedicated to the fauna of Southeast Asia, featuring a 26-metre-long underwater tunnel.
An attraction for families with children and tourists.
The Orientarium with four zones: an elephant enclosure with an underwater window, a temple zone, an ocean zone with a tunnel and a jungle zone.
