Municipal Zoological Garden in Warsaw

The Antonina and Jan Żabiński Municipal Zoological Garden in Warsaw was opened on 11 March 1928. It is located on the right bank of the Vistula, in the Praga-Północ district.

The garden covers an area of 39.47 hectares on Ratuszowa Street.

According to 2011 data, it kept 3,566 animals representing 553 species. Among its attractions are a modern elephant house, an aviary with a free-flight hall, a herpetarium and a great ape pavilion.
