Municipal Zoological Garden in Płock

The Municipal Zoological Garden in Płock was founded on 1 May 1951. It is located on the Vistula escarpment and is a member of EAZA.

Location and surroundings

The garden covers an area of 17 hectares on Norbertańska Street.

Offer/Attractions

According to 2007 data, it kept 3,665 animals representing 319 species. Among its residents are lions, Persian leopards and Indian elephants. The garden is renowned for its herpetarium with venomous Gila monsters and its large freshwater aquariums.
